The Seismic Early Warning is commonly based on a system architecture that involves the installation of numerous seismic detection stations connected to a Server, which acquires the data and delegates the analysis of what is detected to very sophisticated algorithms. After having discarded thousands of inconsistent pieces of information (data), and verified that it was actually a seismic event and not an anthropic event, the server sends the alert signal to the clients. Therefore there is a large amount of incosistent data that the server must analyze and discard so “false positives” are not being generated.
And this can be time consuming.

Starting from the assumption that no organization, in Italy or in the world, has a detection tool available, a seismic monitoring station, which stands alone, verifies these factors and sends a clean alert signal, without having to delegate the server to purge inconsistent data, NowTech designed, built, tested, improved, certified and patented the Seismic Monitoring Station NowTech NT RSS902 EEWS.
Thinking for example about construction sites, operating rooms in hospitals, university campuses, industrial factories, dams, viaducts, all “sensitive structures”, schools. Just to give a few examples.
NowTech NT RSS902 EEWS is a mechatronic instrument built for earthquake damage mitigation, that works stand-alone and does not generate false positives. Saving precious time, since the sudden activation of the alert is the basis for mitigating the damage generated by an earthquake.
